I’m Amy, owner of Excel Barbering, with 15 years of experience in the barbering industry. I’ve owned the shop since April 2022 and i'm qualified to teach barbering, offering 1-to-1 lessons and small group training.

I’m skilled in all aspects of barbering, with skin fades being my favourite cut. I especially love cutting children’s hair and also specialise in hair replacement systems.

I’m passionate about great haircuts, attention to detail, and sharing my knowledge with others. I love having chats catching up with all my regulars and welcoming new faces to the shop!

I’m Laura, gents stylist, I’ve been cutting hair for the past 7 years and barbering is something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. My favourite haircut to do is a taper. I also offer highlights and enjoy creating different styles to suit each client. I’m also really comfortable cutting kids hair, making sure they feel relaxed and leave looking fresh.

I’m all about good cuts, attention to detail and making sure every client leaves the chair feeling their best.

Hi I’m Christina, I’ve been in the hair industry for 8 years now and have always had such a passion for hair and creating looks that make people feel confident and their best.

I genuinely love being behind the chair, getting to know my clients and having a good catch-up while I work. For me, it’s just as much about the experience as it is the finished look I want everyone to leave feeling happy, fresh and confident.

Hi I’m Alistair and I’ve been in the barbering industry for a while now. I take great pride in helping every client leave my chair feeling confident and looking their best. My favourite cuts to work on are scissor cuts and tapers, where I can focus on the finer details and create a style that suits each individual.

For me barbering is about more than just cutting hair. It’s about building connections, meeting new people, catching up with regular clients, and creating an experience that keeps people coming back. I also love creating content for social media, sharing my work, and showcasing my passion for the craft.

Hi I’m Lewis. For me a great haircut is about more than just looking sharp. It’s about leaving the chair feeling better than when you walked in.

I’m big on attention to detail and taking the time to understand exactly what you want. Whether you’re after a clean skin fade a classic scissor cut a beard tidy-up or you’re not quite sure what suits you I’ll make sure we find something that works for you.

I like to keep my chair relaxed and easy going. Come in for a chat and a laugh switch off for half an hour or just sit back and enjoy the haircut  there’s no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
